Growing up in an immigrant home, Dr. Park watched his dad lose all his teeth and see his quality of life suffer. Additionally, Dr. Park has been a long term sufferer of TMJ disorders and would constantly find himself with jaw soreness, clicking, and chipping his teeth in his late teen’s, despite never having had cavities prior to it! Thus, Dr. Daniel Park entered the field of dentistry to prevent others from becoming like his dad as well as to fix people like himself.
Dr. Daniel Park received his Bachelor’s degree in Physics at Emory University and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the New York University College of Dentistry. He then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at NYU Langone and has been practicing in New York since 2019. Dr. Park continually furthers his advanced training in cosmetics, restoratives, and TMJ treatments through the prestigious Dawson Academy to ensure the best possible care for his patients. He is additionally invisalign certified and is able to help you achieve an ideal smile while helping you to have less jaw pain and sleep better through his training with the Dawson Academy principles. He is genuinely passionate about helping you keep your teeth for life and aims to practice preventative care with a focus on the cause of the disease rather than just the symptoms alone.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and newborn son, playing tennis, and serving at his church. He also regularly attends mission trips with BMDMI to provide dental care in Honduras. With a sense of calling to serve others, he is committed to working with his patients to restore and maintain optimal oral health and is honored to serve the community at Slim Dental.
